SquadPulse

Terms of Service

Effective 28 August 2026

1. Agreement

By adding the SquadPulse bot to a Discord server, using its commands, joining SquadPulse events, or using the SquadPulse dashboard, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use SquadPulse.

2. What SquadPulse provides

SquadPulse is a Discord bot and web dashboard for gaming communities. Current features can include event creation and signups, squad/team organisation, temporary Discord rooms, event results, statistics, leaderboards, server settings and member-verification tools. Features may change over time.

3. Free service and optional support

SquadPulse's current public features are provided free of charge. Donations through Ko-fi are optional support for hosting and development and do not guarantee additional features, uptime, priority service or a particular development outcome unless SquadPulse explicitly states otherwise.

4. Server permissions and administrator responsibility

You must have appropriate authority in a Discord server before installing or configuring SquadPulse there. Server owners and administrators are responsible for the permissions they grant, their channel and role configuration, their community rules, and their use of SquadPulse. Do not grant SquadPulse permissions beyond those reasonably required for the features you use.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use SquadPulse to break applicable law, Discord's rules, or the rights of others; interfere with or abuse the service; attempt unauthorised access; deliberately overload the service; exploit bugs; impersonate SquadPulse staff; or use the service to distribute malicious, fraudulent, or unlawful content.

6. Availability and changes

SquadPulse is provided on an as available basis. We may update, suspend, limit or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, technical, legal or operational reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every feature will always operate without errors.

7. Data and privacy

Use of SquadPulse is also subject to the SquadPulse Privacy Policy, which explains the information processed by the bot and dashboard and how to make data-related requests.

8. Third-party services

SquadPulse depends on third-party services, particularly Discord, and may link to services such as Ko-fi. Those services have their own terms, privacy policies and availability. SquadPulse is not responsible for third-party services or changes made by them.

9. Suspension and removal

Access to SquadPulse may be restricted or removed where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users or communities, respond to abuse, comply with legal obligations, or address serious or repeated violations of these terms.

10. Disclaimer and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SquadPulse is provided without warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose. You remain responsible for decisions made using the service, for your Discord server configuration, and for maintaining appropriate backups or records where they matter to you. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as SquadPulse develops. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept the updated terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction or provides you with mandatory rights that cannot be limited by these terms.

13. Contact

SquadPulse is the operator of the SquadPulse service. Questions about these terms can be raised through the official SquadPulse Discord community.
